A must-see exhibition
Created in 2009, every year "L'Art au sommet" takes over the slopes and center of Courchevel, one of the most prestigious ski resorts in the Alps.
Over the years, locals and tourists alike have become attached to this traditional event, whose aim is to showcase artists from a variety of backgrounds in an atypical, majestic setting.
In addition to discovering the works for yourself during your stay, guided tours are also available. A walking tour to better understand the world of the guest artist and the cultural dimension of the exhibition.

Artists from diverse backgrounds
"L'Art au sommet" showcases the work of numerous French and international contemporary artists.
Since its inception, the event has welcomed some twenty painters, sculptors and photographers, including Robert Mars, Mel Ramos, Luciano Di Concetto, Roméo Britto, Richard Orlinski, Julien Marinetti and, last season, Lorenzo Quinn.
In launching this event, Couchevel town council has created a veritable open-air museum, to be admired from the top of a slope or while strolling through the resort's most emblematic sites.
