The Eclipse: discover Courchevel's track of champions!
Inaugurated in 2022 for the men's World Cup final, the Eclipse also hosted the men's World Championship events in February 2023. Specially designed to host the biggest competitions, the 3.2 km long track with a 940 metre vertical drop shines for its technical features.
The course, described as demanding and formidable by the greatest champions, starts not far from the Col de la Loze, at an altitude of 2,230 metres, and finishes near the Courchevel Le Praz Olympic ski jumps, at an altitude of 1,290 metres.
For three years, the resort's teams worked hard to redesign, widen and revegetate the piste to create a route that combines speed and thrills. The result: a vertiginous course worthy of the greatest athletes, as well as skiers with a passion for speed and adrenalin.

It's a tricky section that will challenge your skill after you've built up a lot of speed at the start of the course.
