When asked about their secret spots, a few esf instructors agreed to reveal their favorite places to ski away from the crowds. Reserved for the most experienced skiers, these marked and unmarked runs are jewels, both for the quality of the snow and the beauty of the scenery.

Le cirque des Creux Noirs : idyllic off-piste
The Creux Noir peak is the highest summit in the cirque. It rises to an altitude of 3,153 m and offers superb panoramic views over the Vanoise region. Popular with hikers in summer, the Creux Noirs cirque is also appreciated for its superb powder snow in winter.
That's why many esf instructors regularly come to enjoy an off-piste session on the slopes of this unique area, preferably in the early morning, just after a snowfall.

L’Aiguille du fruit : a septentrional peak to discover
Professionals agree that the Aiguille du Fruit offers breathtaking scenery all year round. As a result, many come to enjoy these wide-open spaces on foot or on skis, depending on the season.
Others prefer to take to the northern couloir of the Aiguille du Fruit, to ski down the narrow, rocky, unmarked slopes. In fact, some of the slopes are renowned for being very steep: a difficulty much appreciated by thrill-seeking esf instructors.

La Combe de la Saulire : a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc
La Combe de la Saulire was chosen as the final secret spot by the professionals. In Courchevel, the instructors interviewed put the summit of La Saulire (2,738 m) and its panoramic view of Mont Blanc and other points of interest first.
To make the most of it, some professionals get up at dawn to ski here and make the first tracks. The majestic atmosphere of La Saulire never ceases to amaze regular skiers, as much for its steep slopes as for its mythical, undulating landscapes. A true gem!
