Originally from Chambéry, this instructor will be happy to make you discover the joys of alpine skiing. Although he has never had the experience of a ski season in Courchevel, Leopold started skiing at just four years old.

In the Rolland family, the love of skiing is transmitted from father to son ! Indeed, Léopold's father was a ski instructor and shared his love of winter sports with his son.

Thus winter sports have always been a passion for Léopold, who put on his first skis at the age of four. Like any self-respecting instructor, he loves speed and physical effort.

The resort of Courchevel takes a special place in his heart. As a child, he was part of Courchevel's kindergarten : "It's a resort that makes me dream and that I've always loved." Leopold has always kept a special contact with this resort and often returned there to satisfy his passion while remembering good memories of skiing.

In the last two years, he was even part of the Courchevel 1850 sports club where he was very well received. In the ski school, he progressed a lot thanks to competent instructors. Léopold holds the ESF in high esteem for the values it conveys, such as passion, pleasure and professionalism. On the area, his favorite slopes are the M, La Combe de la Saulire and les Suisses.

Outside the slopes, Leopold likes to travel. This high-level sportsman has already climbed on several glaciers. To him, the most beautiful slopes in the world are La  Face of Bellevarde, the Streif, Le Grand Couloir - a black slope which reaches 85% steep ! -, La Sarenne and Chuenisbärgli.
