For 10 years, Adèle Thiery has been teaching with passion at ESF Courchevel.

Originally from Bozel, Adèle grew up with a pair of skis on. Her passion for ski was conveyed by her parents, especially her father, who is also a ski instructor. Besides, it is in Courchevel that she skied for the very first time, when she was two and a half. Encouraged by her parents, she immediately loved this sport. But as she herself says, she did not have much choice at that age! But since then, this passion never left her.

As a teenager, and after practicing this sport as a leisure, Adèle started taking part in competitions. She was part of the sports club of the resort for ten years, until she passed the technical test. Thanks to the club, she took part in competitions in different ski resorts in the Trois Vallées, but also abroad. Thanks to her expertise, Adèle managed to reach the podium. She was even selected for the Jugend Cup at Saas Fee, Switzerland.

This professional skier particularly likes to observe her learners improving thanks to her advice, but she also like exchanging with them. This is what her father taught her.

Despite the fact that she learnt how to ski at the sports club of Courchevel, she never considered teaching elsewhere. Her favourite ski runs are: Park City, La Cave des Creux for its friendly atmosphere, the Loze pass and the summit of La Saluire at the end of the day.

Adèle has always worked in Courchevel. In the near future, she will go to Sweden with her father and customers in order to ski off-piste. She looks forward to this new experience.
