"More than twenty years of experience in skiing, which I invite you to share. See you on the slopes of the most beautiful area in the world !"

About

As comfortable in the mountains as on the sea, Bernard has been teaching skiing for almost 30 years.

Native of Nice, Bernard was born far from the slopes. This doesn’t preclude him from starting skiing at only two years old, accompanied by his mother. As soon as he discovers the snow, in love with the unique sensations he instantly feels, young Bernard doesn't want to stop skiing. He quickly participates to several competitions at the regional level.

A few years later, driven by his love for skiing and great outdoors, and his passion for transmission, he learns how to become an instructor. This is how he gets into the ESF, a school which he admires the seriousness, and with which he shares the notions of pleasure and conviviality in teaching.

Arriving by chance in Courchevel after a first season in the United States, Bernard who has been teaching skiing in this ski resort for 28 years, considers the area as his second adopted homeland. For his students to be self-confident on the slopes, the instructor uses a playful approach to the activity, without ever neglecting safety. His best memory is bringing a beginner to ski in the Trois Vallées area after only two days of lessons.

Bernard, for whom skiing is a way of doing new things every day, spent several seasons abroad, especially in Switzerland and in the United States, and practiced heli-skiing in British Columbia and in Italy. Trips brought him the experience of foreign experience and forced him to confront his teaching methods to other ways of teaching.

Besides the mountains, Bernard, as comfortable in the mountains as on the sea, is a sailing fan. Manager of several companies in the city, he appreciates challenges.

On the area, Bernard loves hitting the slopes of La Combe des Pylônes, and practicing off-piste skiing on those of Les Arolles and Les Creux Noirs. To this instructor who traveled a lot, the most beautiful slopes in the world are in France, La Face de Bellevarde in Val d'Isère, La Casse du Boeuf in Serre-Chevalier, La Jean Blanc in Courchevel and the famous Dame Blanche in the Menuires.
