"Let yourself go !"
Former freestyle ski champion, Claire teaches skiing with a lot of patience.
Born in Courchevel, Claire is an experienced instructor since she has been teaching skiing for two decades. From a family of mountaineers, Claire fell in skiing like "Obelix in his cooking pot". Thus she starts skiing at a very young age and quickly joins the "Club des Sports" of Courchevel, in the section "Freestyle Skiing". She goes on with 12 years of competition leading her to the European Cup. This rich period of experience teaches the future instructor the taste for the effort, the group life, sharing and joy of rewards.
Claire becomes an instructor thanks to her love for mountains and because she feels the need to share this playful sport that has brought her a lot of happiness. Then, she joins the ESF of Courchevel whose unity and diversity she truly admires. To teach skiing, Claire adapts her teaching approach to the needs of her clients, with a lot of psychology in order to be reactive to all demands.
In the resort of Courchevel, the instructor enjoys varied grounds on which she can meet all wishes of her clients. The beauty of the massifs, their colors, the texture of the snow and the maintenance of the slopes... Everything she needs to teach her favorite sport under the best possible conditions.
As an instructor, Claire has many memories. All are linked to the notions of sharing, progression and cultural diversity.
Her favorite slopes are Les Suisses, for the humps, Le Signal for its tranquility and its stunning view on the national park. Claire also loves to cross the forest of the Praz for its powder snow and take the children to La Grotte du Loup.
