'Carpe Diem'
Cyril Garrigue-Besson was born in Auvergne, in the mountains. Driven by his love for sliding and for nature, this instructor, specialised in snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ski-touring and off-piste skiing has been teaching for over 16 years his preferred disciplines with passion.
Cyril was introduced to winter sports as early as four- above all else, he appreciates the unrivalled feeling of escape, freedom and speed they can convey. Cyril quickly felt comfortable on the slopes and rapidly considered training within the Ecole du Ski Français (ESF), which represents for him an unquestionable guarantee of expertise.
Cyril arrived in Courchevel 1850 in order to discover Les Trois Vallées area and its diverse spots. Above all, he likes rediscovering this resort every winter and especially his favourite sports, which are Les Couloirs de la Saulire, Les Creux Noirs and Biolley.
In order to help his learners to surpass themselves, Cyril focuses on a progressive teaching. For more than a decade now, he has been taking pleasure improving his method, which enabled him to bring some of his learners to free-ride championships, and even to world cups!
When not teaching sliding sports, Cyril is a water-skiing coach, in Lavandou; another universe which avoids him to leave the sensations he has a fondness for and which he also rediscovers when practicing surfing.
