Instructor for 48 years, Denis is also passionate about old cars!

Originally from the Massif des Vosges, Denis was born in the heart of the mountains. He starts skiing very young, at the age of 4, pushed by a dad who was one of the very first ski instructors. Very quickly comfortable on slopes, Denis starts competition and gets ranked at the level of Vosges Champion in "Giant".

His passion for skiing and competition and his love for teaching led him to become a ski instructor. Then he joins the ski resort of Courchevel, which he discovers by chance, thanks to a friend with whom he took tennis lessons. He immediately falls in love with the area, in which he will teach for almost 50 years.

To quickly make his students improve, Denis is very patient. He knows that beginnings are always difficult, this is why he guides his clients with a lot of attention during the first times on slopes. In 48 years of teaching, this very attentive instructor has contributed to the beginnings of many skiers. His best memory is learning to a one-legged person how to ski.

Denis, who had hit many slopes, from the USA to Austria through Canada, Switzerland and Italy, also taught a few seasons at Club Med in Saint Moritz. Different places that led the instructor to realize that all resorts want to be like Courchevel !

Sports and teaching lover, Denis is also a tennis teacher. Another string to his bow which enables him to have fun all year round.

Denis has another passion : he is crazy about old cars.

On the Trois Vallées area, you will probably see this instructor rolling down the Murettes slopes, his favorite spot. Denis, who had the opportunity to travel, thinks that the most beautiful slopes in the world are La Saulire, Le Praz, Stella Ronda, the Corvatch, La Mauselaine and Bourvil.
