Frédéric, ski instructor for 30 years, teaches with the same passion as when he started.

Originally from Charente-Maritime, Frederic starts skiing in the Pyrenees and instantly understands that his entire life will be about this amazing sport. He starts competition and reaches some podiums. However, he does not manage to get on the highest step. Thus these years gave to Frédéric the opportunity to learn humility, essential concept to his eyes in the practice of skiing.

Addicted to mountains, sliding sensations and rewards after the efforts, he quickly decides to become an instructor. A job which has enabled him to enjoy changing landscapes and share his love for skiing with the greatest number for 30 years.

This is how Frédéric joined the ESF, the French Ski School, whose organization, professionalism and experience he admires. It is only after having taught in the Club Med that he arrives to Courchevel, a resort where everybody knows him after three decades of teaching.

To push his students to their best level, Frederic - also called Fredy - considers that the first step is listening to the clients in order to understand their fears and aspirations. A soft approach thanks to which he has befriended with many of his students and created beautiful memories based on snowy slopes and strong friendships!

Passionate traveler, Frédéric went to Canada to practice heliskiing a dozen times, skiing in Switzerland, Italy and many other French resorts such as Val d'Isère, Tignes or Serre Chevalier, but also many others smaller ones.. All different experiences that brought him very different visions of the organization, and the certainty that there is always something to learn, even after 30 years of career.

This instructor, for whom the best slopes are those that remain to be discovered, has no favorite spot. Why only have one when 600 kilometers of snowy slopes are available to you ?
