Jean-Maxime, originally from Lyon, discovered the joys of skiing at 5 years old. Immediately passionate by winter sports, he kept on skiing regularly, for his pleasure but also during competitions. In order to combine profession and passion but also to share and introduce people to the unique universe of the mountain, Jean-Maxime became a ski instructor over 40 years ago. With his long experience, he was able to specialise in several disciplines such as snowboarding, off-piste skiing and snowshoeing. Moreover, Jean-Maxime is a ski instructor who knows very well how to adapt to each student’s needs. Since he’s been an instructor, one of his best memory is to have been able to teach a one-legged man how to use a monoski. For him, esf Courchevel 1850 represents seriousness and safety. 

When he is not on the ski slopes, Jean-Maxime remains near since he is a mid-mountain guide. In addition to his passion for skiing, Jean-Maxime is a multi-faceted man since he appreciates water sports, cycling, music and literature. Before becoming an instructor, he had the opportunity to ski in South America where he discovered another ski culture. In Courchevel, his favourite slope is the Jean Blanc.
