‘A love for sliding’.
Originally from Savoie, Jérôme has been teaching for 25 years now.
At first, becoming a ski instructor was not self-evident for Jérôme, as he was working in addition to his activity as tradesman. Then, he came to like it. Today, he particularly enjoys teaching children.
Jérôme has always lived in Courchevel and started skiing at the age of four. He immediately liked this sport. He especially likes hitting the slopes of Jean Blanc, the Joker, the Combe des Pylônes and La Murette.
Specialised in cross-country skiing, Jérôme even took part in competitions. During his youth, he was France Vice Champion of UNSS in the minimal category.
When not teaching, Jérôme is a tradesman and has several other occupations; he works as a construction painter, floor covering installer, or else a sandblast worker. During his free time, he likes road cycling, mountain biking, football and hiking. During the summer, he is a fan of roller skiing.
Jérôme is always ready to discover new places. He has already travelled a lot, especially in Europe. One of his best memories is a ski touring expedition carried out between Chamonix and Zermatt, Switzerland. For him, the most beautiful ski run in the world is the Streif, Austria, considered for many as the most technical and the most difficult in the world. He also likes La Face de Bellevarde at Val-d’Isère and of course, La Loze in Courchevel.
