Maxime cannot wait to make you hit the slopes of Courchevel !
Native of Montagny, Maxime puts his first skis on at the age of 3 years and, since then, does not get bored of hitting the slopes. Ski instructor for 5 years, Maxime still eagerly waits the opening of ski slopes from mid-november until the end of April.
As a passionate instructor, Maxime has always skied in Courchevel where he appreciates the variety of slopes in the area, steep or rather flat, and the great outdoors that the resort provides to its skiers. Maxime took part in many nordic skiing competitions before starting alpine skiing. He notably was three times champion of Savoie. During all these years of competition, Maxime often went to Sweden or Norway where he discovered not only wonderful and bright landscapes but also a more important culture of skiing ; which brought him to transmit his love for sliding to everyone.
First Maxime obtains his "DE" (State registered diploma) in nordic skiing and, passionate by all the winter sports, goes on with a DE in alpine skiing. This complementarity enables him to enjoy ground movements and play with every slope.
Attached to Courchevel, Maxime naturally joins the big family of the ESF (French Ski School) with which he shares the passion of skiing. Those instructors became true friends and he loves hiking and improving his skills in ski racing with them.
Convinced that every child has his own skills and qualities, this caring instructor gives confidence to his clients to get them to have fun by pushing their boundaries.
Great athlete, Maxime enjoys practicing golf, bike, tennis, wakeboarding and hiking. He also likes travelling to see what happens elsewhere. Maxime advises different spots depending on your desires. La Loze with its wonderful view on the resort and on La Grande Casse in the background. If you prefer sliding off-piste, the instructor recommends the Tania area, perfect to play in the middle of the trees. Maxime also appreciates La Saulire and its special atmosphere. His favorite slope remains the one to the Orelle, from the top of Val Thorens.
And as a bonus, here's a rating of the greatest slopes ridden by our instructor :
- The off-piste area of Arèches Beaufort
- Les Arcs (Aiguillle Rouge > Villaroger)
- Val d'Isère
- Meribel > Mont Vallon
