‘Courchevel is a heaven to practice any kind of snow sliding sport. The best way to relax and to forget your worries’.
Philippe always had the vocation to become a ski instructor. He has been teaching for 40 years.
Originally from Chambéry, Philippe first put on skis at the age of three. This sport quickly became a real passion and played an important role in his life. So much so that he wanted to become a ski instructor: for him, it was a true vocation.
Naturally patient, he likes taking his time with his learners to teach them new techniques and to make them improve. Proud to be part of the ESF, he points out the professionalism of its teaching, which allows anyone to discover skiing and the mountain.
It seemed natural for Philippe to choose Courchevel to settle and to give his lessons since his parents taught him there how to ski. Incidentally, his favourite ski run is the M- when it is negotiable, of course.
During his lessons, Philippe shares his love for ski and for sliding, but also the pleasure he has when discovering the mountain, which always looks different. When not on the slopes, Philippe works as a lifeguard in the summer. During his free time, he practices water-skiing, wakeboarding, kitesurfing, but also mountain biking and road cycling.
Even though emotionally attached to Courchevel, Philippe has already travelled to discover new slopes, especially in Norway, Switzerland and Italy. But his favourite ski runs remain in Courchevel. He keeps saying: ‘I LOVE Courchevel’!
