This experienced instructor adapts his teaching approach to his students in order to make them progress.

Pierre has been teaching skiing in Courchevel for 35 years now. This passionate instructor perfectly knows the resort since he worked as a technical director for 4 years and managing director for 6 years for the ESF of Courchevel 1850.

Skier since he was two and a half, Pierre accidentally discovers the resort of Courchevel by staying with friends during holidays when he taught in Méribel. There, he feels fascination for this resort and a deep desire to share his passion for skiing with others. He naturally joins the ESF of Courchevel, a school in which he finds values that he shares : solidarity, performance, tradition and quality.

In skiing, Pierre appreciates the diversity and the possibility to ski in other resorts and other countries, and then to go back to the roots in the Trois Vallées ; this is what always gives him so much satisfaction.

This experienced instructor also visited Switzerland, Argentina and the USA before settling in Courchevel. However, he keeps travelling all over the world in order to keep an open mind, and to learn English and Spanish. An approach that he wants to integrate into his teaching method : first of all, adapting the teaching to the personality and the history of each student that they can progress easily, always in a playful way.

In Courchevel, his favorite ski slope is undoubtedly L'Épaule de la Vizelle. His desire to discover new landscapes leads him to appreciate the slopes of La Grave, La Vallée Blanche in Chamonix, Corvatsch in Saint Moritz, the Olimpia in Cortina d'Ampezzo and La Sarenne in the Alpe d'Huez.
