Winter sports have no secrets for this instructor who enjoyed the pleasures of skiing as soon as he was born. Indeed, his mother used to take him out on her sleigh in the slopes of Jura, Romain believes he knew how to ski before walking! If you are looking for an experienced instructor, Romain is a former professional athlete of the French team who participated to several world cups and championships. His best title was Champion of France in nordic combined and was often on the podiums during European cups. In addition to competitions, Romain felt it was important to be able to share his passion and teach how to ski safely. Within the esf Courchevel, that he joined 6 years ago, his pedagogy relies on the pleasure to ski and being attentive to his students’ needs. His best teaching memory is an off-piste ski touring day in Spring. 

When he is not wearing his esf red sweater, Romain is a high-level athlete in water-ski jumping. Thanks to his passion, Romain travelled a lot through Europe and even did an expedition on the highest summit of Norway, the Galghopiggen. 

His favorite slope in Courchevel is the Grand Couloir and his favorite spot is the Aiguille du Fruit.
