Silvia Gerbelle was born in Italy. Although she has been teaching skiing for over 16 years, her passion keeps increasing. This instructor, who speaks Italian, English and a bit of Spanish, trained within the Ecole du Ski Français; her love for downhill skiing and her will to pass on her passion to the greatest number convinced her to become a ski instructor.

Silvia started skiing as early as three. She was immediately struck by the intense sensations of sliding, of speed, and by the fresh and pure air- elements which, every season, she takes pleasure to rediscover in the company of her learners.

This instructor discovered Courchevel 1850 thanks to a friend, who rapidly became unable to consider leaving this resort surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and quality infrastructures. Silvia, who already had the opportunity to ski in several other European resorts, keeps wonderful memories from all these experiences. Yet, above all, she became aware that Courchevel is her favourite ski resort; for her, it is the best one.

When not teaching skiing to her learners, Silvia works in an advertising agency which is present in several other ski resorts. This occupation prevents her from moving away from her favourite universe, and enables her to meet unmissable personalities in major European resorts.

Silvia, who also appreciates long walks in the mountain, also enjoys water sports.
