Yannick Guerillot has come to Courchevel on an impulse, and never left! 

Yannick Guerillot works as a competitive skiing instructor in the ESF. He first worked in Chamrousse. He speaks French and English and arrived in Courchevel ski resort on an impulse. He started practicing snow sports when he was two and took part in competitions. Motivated by his passion for skiing, he has been teaching for 25 years now.

What Yannick Guerillot likes most is speed, an element with which he can have fun on the Jockeys, his favourite slope. Before Courchevel, Yannick worked as a ski instructor in other resorts; an experience which enabled him to vary his relationships with customers, but also to observe cultural and philosophical differences around the practice and the teaching of skiing. His best teaching memories are the feelings conveyed whenever an objective is reached. For him, the ESF is a true community which gathers around the practice of skiing. 

Apart from being a ski instructor, Yannick works as a mountain guide and also likes climbing. He has already skied in the whole northern hemisphere for competitions and from these experiences, he observed different and innovative approaches. For him the five most beautiful slopes in the world are the Olympic ski run of Chamrousse, the Jockeys in Courchevel, La Streiff in Kitzbühel, Le Grand Sommard au Sappey en Chartreuse and Lauberhorn in Wengen.
